Meet Our Team

Managers

Business Assistant - Bobbi JoBobbi Jo – Chief Operations Manager

I am proud to be an Alaskan through and through. I was born and raised in Anchorage and I do my very best to take advantage of all Alaska has to offer.

My husband and I met and married in Anchorage and enjoy the outdoors as much as we can. We love to camp, fish, and hunt in our great state. I also have a love of laughter and coffee. I am known for the excessive use of both around our office.

I have enjoyed growing within the dental field for the last 10 years and am proud to say my dental experience started here at Alaska Premier Dental Group. I began working at Alaska Premier Dental Group in 2008 as a scheduling coordinator. Fast forward eight years and I have been blessed to lead a dynamic team as their Chief of Operations for over two years now.

I have learned so much throughout my time with Alaska Premier Dental Group and have enjoyed gleaning information from the best in the field of dentistry. It is truly a joy to work with those who love and excel at what they do.

Kaylynn - Dental AssistantKaylynn – Clinical Manager

I was born and raised here in Anchorage, Alaska, and love what this beautiful state has to offer.

My husband and I love spending time fishing, camping and taking long walks with our fur babies.

I joined Alaska Premier Dental Group in July of 2008, after graduating high school. My career started as a hygiene coordinator that sparked my interest in dental assisting. I had the opportunity to work alongside many of our providers as a lead dental assistant and trainer for 7 years. My experience with dental assisting allowed me to grow into my current position as Clinical Manager of Alaska Premier Dental Group.

What I love most about dentistry is the opportunity to help others, to improve lives and oral health. I truly believe when we say “taking care of you way beyond your smile” is exactly what we do here at Alaska Premier Dental Group. Our passion and drive for helping others is a force I will always stand behind!

I have been in Alaska for over 50 years and really enjoy hiking outside with my two dogs. I am also an avid wildlife & bird watcher and photographer.

I love that I have been able to build not only dental relationships but also friendships with so many patients over the last 31 years in practice.

Dental Hygienist - RhondaRhonda

Originally from Wisconsin, I have been in Alaska since 1990. I have two daughters and one son who keep me very busy. We spend our time together taking care of the horses, cats and dogs that we have collected over the years.

I went to hygiene school in Madison, WI and worked in Minneapolis for 6 years. I am really glad that I was able to move to the Last Frontier and make Alaska Premier Dental Group my home since 1997.

Dental Hygienist - CamielCamiel

I moved to Alaska in 2002 with the greatest man I know, my husband. We consider ourselves blessed to call Alaska home. In a nutshell, I love coffee, photography, Pad Thai, laughing, reading, Jesus, crafting and traveling.

I graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage Hygiene program in 2005 and can not imagine a better career choice. The opportunity to turn what is often dreaded into a fun, positive experience makes my day.

Samantha

I grew up in Northern Idaho and moved to Alaska with my husband in 2013. Quite honestly, we are “living the dream” here. We love all that Alaska has to offer, and have been fortunate enough to explore many areas of that state. I enjoy backpacking, cross country skiing, and almost any outdoor activity Alaska has to offer. I also love crafting and baking.

I attended Dental Hygiene school at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Being a hygienist is such a rewarding career to have. I get to meet new people every day, make connections with them and help them feel healthier and happier about their smile.

Ruth

Having grown up in Alaska, I didn’t realize what it had to offer until I went away to college. I spent years dreaming of coming home one day and I was finally able to do that 17 years ago. I can’t imagine living anywhere else and trying to enjoy as much as I can here in Alaska.

I love to fish, camp (as long as I can shower), hike and snow machine. I am learning to ride a dirt bike but with some trepidation, as my first five minutes riding one, landed me in the operating room.

I have five wonderful sons, ranging in age from 15 to 25. I am so passionate about working in dentistry that so far, two of my sons are also working in the dental field.
As a hygienist, my goal is to have a personal relationship with each patient and for the last 16 years, I feel like I have spent each day seeing one friend after another. I also have the opportunity to help all of these fantastic people I care about.

The most rewarding thing to me is to hear people say that they had a great time at their dental appointment and look forward to their next one.

Tessa

Originally from Utah, I’ve fallen in love with all things Alaska, My husband of 10 years is from Petersburg and we have three spoiled lazy pugs. When I’m not making your smile bright and beautiful I am fishing, camping, traveling, and watching movies.

I’ve had the pleasure of improving smiles for the past 12 years. First as a dental assistant, I graduated with my dental hygiene degree in 2009 at Dixie State University. My focus is patient comfort and education. I strive to make each visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible!

Emily

I moved to Wasilla from the Chicago area in the fall of 2000. In 2006, I moved to Missoula, Montana and received my bachelor’s degree in biology from The University of Montana. After graduation, I returned to Alaska, the state I love. I later returned to school and earned my degree in dental hygiene from UAA.

My passion is for education and health care. For me, dental hygiene is the perfect collaboration of the two. I am excited to be a part of the APDG hygiene team so I can share my knowledge on how to create and maintain optimal oral and overall health with my patients.

My son and I love the outdoors and spend the majority of our free time in the mountains exploring new hiking trails and throwing rocks in the river. We are looking forward to countless more years in this beautiful state. I am excited to build relationships with the members of our Alaskan community.
