Staying Active This Summer

So, here are a few ideas if you are looking to stay active this summer.

Trail Running
Your run or walk will never get dull with the beautiful trails Alaska has to offer, such as the scenic coastal trail in Anchorage. There is also a plethora of fun summer running events, such as the Mayor’s Midnight Sun Marathon or the Skinny Raven Pub Run that takes place every Tuesday. Mountain Climbing
You don’t have to summit Denali to enjoy a fun hike in Alaska. There are plenty of fun hikes practically in your backyard. Flat Top is a popular and enjoyable hike for experts as well as beginners. Kayaking
There are also some beautiful lakes just within our city limits perfect for Kayaking, such as Jewel Lake, which is stocked with rainbow trout.
